萌芽篇 Sprouting
Significance
If eating and drinking are only for fulling up,
it would live in an ant’s life.
If entertainment and recreation are all for pleasures,
it would be utterly unrestrainable.
If friendship is merely for benefits,
it would all be in heartlessness and ungratefulness.
If kinship is simply for requests,
it would be disintegrated sooner or later in dissensions.
If toiling and moiling is but for present,
the soul shall be lost.
Blind pursuits
expose vicious faces,
Gradually devouring
goodness and righteousness.
Free psyche
is prisoned in flesh.
The destination in this life
points to the seeking of that life.
The significance of world
is a secret above this world.
“If the dead are not raised, let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.”
