萌芽篇 Sprouting

                                               Where

                                            Clouds ask wind,
                                        “Where shall you go?”
Wind pays no attention to that,
but clouds flutter to the remote lands.

                                          Wind asks lightning,
                                        “Where shall you go?”
With radiance from far and wide,
Wind is swift and fierce in blaze.

                                         Lightning asks thunder,
                                        “Where shall you go?”
                                             Thunder roars
                                            to blast on earth.

                                          Earth asks firmament,
                                        “Where shall you go?”
                                         Firmament keeps silence
with the changing positions of stars.

                                            Sky asks all stars,
                                        “Where shall you go?”
                                           Dancing in the air,
                                         stars gallop to compose
a grand universe symphony in cheers.

                                            Spirit asks carnal,
                                        “Where——are you?”
                                      “Where——shall you go?”

“Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?”

                                                                                    ·49·
