旦兮之二

昼时逐日久，夜时盼辰星。
昼夜往复浮幽处，月影独驻。
暗似无休，何以遇天明？
天若有意复华旦，死生后矣永灵兴。

Dawn (Part Two)

Pursue light in daytime for ages,
and expect stars in nighttime as always.
In the twilight between circular day and night,

shadow of moon delays.
With seemingly incessant vagueness,
when it’s the time daybreak arrives?
If the Supreme would revive the orient,

by resurrection after death eternal Spirit rises.
