旷野诗选
Wilderness Anthology
Protection
In the daytime,
You observe from afar
and heed to me quietly,
holding back ignorant words.
At night-time,
You enter into my soul
to examine discreetly,
hindering ridiculous minds.
In the coldness,
rainstorm arrives suddenly.
You spread your wings
to shield nestling birds tightly.
Lurking in ambush, the lions
prepare to tear up game.
You are strong and brave warriors
to hit out anytime.
The peace in panic You are,
the stillness in chaos You are,
the reliance in disappointment You are,
and the security in destruction You are.
“Keep me as the apple of your eye, hide me in the shadow of your wings. ”
