一、题型案例

1）. Directions： You are required to make up a conversation with the information
given below. （3 minutes）
A： You are a Chinese student in a university. At lunchtime， you meet a foreign
student in the dining hall. He/She does not know what dishes to choose， so you

recommend some delicious dishes to him/her. B： You are a foreign student studying
in a university in China. At lunchtime， you meet A who kindly recommends some
dishes to you.
A: Oh, I’m starving. I’d like to try some real Chinese cuisine. What would you

recommend? 啊，我快饿死啦我想吃点真正的中国菜。你给我推荐什么呢 ?
B: Well, it depends. You see, there are eight famous Chinese cuisines:for instance,
the Sichuan cuisine, Kung Pao Chicken，Mapo Tofu，Sichuan Boiled Fish，Spicy
Chicken，Twice Cooked Pork and so on.

那要看情况了。您知道，中国主要有八大菜系。比方说川菜，有宫保鸡丁、
麻婆豆腐、水煮鱼、辣子鸡、回锅肉等菜。
A: They are spicy hot, I’ ve heard. 我听说很辣。
B: That’s right. If you like hot dishes, you can try some.

对。您要是爱吃辣的，可以试试。
A: It might be too hot for me. 对我来说可能太辣了点。
B: Then there’s the Cantonese cuisine . Most southerners like them，Cantonese
Barbecue，Steamed Fish、Stir-fried Chinese Chives with Oyster Sauce、Stir-fried

Beef Ho Fun、Egg Foo Young、Steamed Fish、Stir-fried Gai Lan、White-cut
Chicken、Stir-fried Chicken with Cordyceps Sinensis and so on. 再有是粤菜，大多
南方人都爱吃，有广东烧腊、清蒸鱼、蚝油炒韭菜、炒牛河、芙蓉蛋、清蒸鱼、
炒芥兰、白切鸡、虫草花炒鸡片等。

A: What about any special Beijing dishes? 有什么特别的 ` 北京风味菜吗 ?
B: There are the Beijing roast duck, Shredded Pork in Beijing Sauce,Beijing-style
