Research on Financial Development Mechanism and Path of Forestry Carbon
Sequestration in Developing Countries under Double Carbon Targets

5.2 Specific Measures for Enterprises to Respond to CBAM

5.2.1 to enhance production processes to reduce carbon emissions

When dealing with CBAM, enterprises should take reducing carbon emissions as
an important task. Reduce carbon emissions in the production process through tech-
nological innovation and process improvement. At the same time, enterprises should
actively adopt clean energy sources, such as solar energy and wind energy, to replace
the traditional high-carbon energy sources, so as to reduce the overall carbon emission
             level.

5.2.2 to strengthen the market promotion and promotion of low-carbon products

Enterprises should intensify the market promotion of low-carbon products to im-
prove consumers’ awareness and acceptance of low-carbon products. Through brand
building, marketing strategies and other means, to enhance the competitiveness of
low-carbon products in the market. In addition, enterprises can also cooperate with the
government and industry associations to jointly promote low-carbon technology stan-
dards and norms and guide the industrial chain to develop towards low carbon.
In short, our government and enterprises should work together to increase policy
support, promote research and development of low-carbon technologies, reduce carbon
emissions, and create favorable conditions for enterprises to deal with CBAM. At the
same time, strengthen international cooperation, share the global experience of low-car-
bon development, and jointly address the challenges brought by the carbon border ad-
             justment tax.
