Chapter 1 Carbon Asset Management Practice
with carbon knowledge. First, the “audit plus” talent training for on-the-job carbon au-
dit should be conducted from top to bottom. From above, it is necessary to strengthen
each leading cadre’s awareness of responsibility for carbon audit, and increase the study
of “double carbon” policies and guidelines in daily training to deepen understanding.
From the bottom up, the auditors should use the research-based audit thinking to carry
out the carbon audit work: before the audit, they can systematically study the “double
carbon” programmatic document under the guidance of industry experts and update the
carbon audit business information in a timely manner; After the audit, it is necessary to
actively summarize and summarize while the iron is hot, establish a carbon audit case
base, and improve work efficiency. Secondly, it is necessary to continuously strengthen
the construction of talent training system for carbon audit in colleges and universities.
It is suggested that all colleges and universities and vocational and technical colleges
should set up the major of carbon and energy at the same time as the major of audit,
and devote themselves to the simultaneous mastery of “audit+carbon”. On the basis of
solid theory, they should set up elective courses such as block chain, cloud computing,
data analysis, etc. to realize the training of information-based audit talents. At the same
time, it is suggested that colleges and universities should strengthen the combination of
theoretical teaching and practical training, provide sufficient internship opportunities
for audit students and cultivate qualified applied talents for the society. Finally, China’s
carbon audit personnel training should also draw on the experience of other countries,
take the essence of other countries, and combine with China’s national conditions, and
effectively apply it to China’s carbon audit practice.
5) Strict supervision and assessment of carbon audit and compaction responsibility
In order to achieve the peak carbon dioxide emissions and carbon-neutral targets,
the government should not only supervise them, but should unite all social forces to
create a social environment of common supervision. First, the carbon audit supervision
model should be diversified. In addition to a single government supervision, industry
supervision, public supervision and public opinion supervision should be increased. In-
dustry organizations can appoint professional carbon auditors to be responsible for the
supervision work, so as to make up for the defects of insufficient government supervi-
sion experience, weak professionalism and poor independence. As a direct stakeholder
of carbon emissions, citizens are an important monitoring force of carbon audit. It is
necessary to strengthen the popularization of the “double carbon” knowledge of the
whole people, enhance the awareness of carbon audit of the whole people, and form a
social atmosphere of national supervision. News, newspapers and new media platforms
