             Wilderness Anthology

                                             Cancer

                                         Dancing with shackle,
                                       praise aloud desperately.
                                       Being imprisoned in cage,
play on strings of dusty musical instrument.

                                        It is irresistible destiny
                                       in twisted human nature.

                                        Discerning from the rift,

it is a soul suffered from cancer
                                        in rust and degeneration
                                            with all stinky
                                          crawling maggots.

So everyone is! So everyone is!

                                          I would rather live
                                           to enjoy crowds

                                          at streets and lanes,
hustling and bustling in beatific mirth.
                                           Stooping down,
                                     discover a newly-budded grass

                                         and take off disguise.

                                          I would rather live
to observe a thin wisp of smoke

straggling up from kitchen chimneys of a house,
                                         under where women
