Thrust the left palm forward over the right arm, with the palm facing
upward (Figure 3-50-3). Retract left foot, while turning the right fist into
palm and flick down. Change left palm into fist (Figure 3-50-4). Turn left,

hold the left fist and right palm together in an empty step and salute, look-
ing to the left side (Figure 3-50-5).
