2) 急则治标，是在标症或标病为急，甚至危及生命，或后发之标症影响到先发
之本病时的一种应急治疗原则。如大量急性出血病人，无论何种原因出血，均应采取
紧急措施，先止血以治标，待血止病情缓解后再治其本病。“急则治标”是一种应急
的治则，治标之后一定还要治本。它与“治病必求其本”并不矛盾。

2) Treating the symptoms upon emergency is the principle for emergency treatment
when the symptoms are urgent or even life-threatening, or when the later symptoms affect
the previously occurring disease. For example, emergent measures should be taken for
patients with acute massive bleeding, regardless of the cause of bleeding, to stop bleeding
first, i.e. treating the symptoms, and then treat the root cause after the bleeding stops.

“Treating the symptoms upon emergency” is the rule for emergency treatment, and root
causes must be handled after treating the symptoms. This is not contradictory to “identifying
root causes for disease treatment”.

3) 标本兼治，是标病与本病并重时所采用的一种治疗原则。如虚体感冒，患者
素体气虚， 反复外感，外感病虽不重不急，但因正气不足而外邪不易祛除，治宜益
气解表。益气为治本，解表是治标，此即标本兼治之法。又如表证未解，里证又现，
则应表里双解，亦属标本兼治之法。

3) Treating both the symptoms and root causes is a therapeutic principle adopted when
both the symptoms and root causes are severe. For example, a patient with weak condition
has a cold, and due to qi deficiency, he has exterior symptoms repeatedly. Although exterior
symptoms are not serious or urgent, they are not easy to eliminate because of insufficient

vital qi of the patient, so the treatment should be supplementing qi and relieving exterior
symptoms. Supplementing qi is for treatment of the root cause, and relieving exterior
symptoms is for treatment of symptoms, i.e. the method of treating both the symptoms and
root causes. Another example, the exterior symptom has not been eliminated, but the interior

symptom occurred, then both the exterior and interior symptoms shall be treated, i.e. the
method to treat both the exterior and the interior.
c) 第三，海流导引，即八卦阴阳导引。采用循经传感，同频共振，海流势能，

循经传感就是 12 经络运行同频共振，就是气血运行穴位，海流势能就是无管道定向
流动产生的能量，利用海流无管道定向流动，将药导过去。
c) 3. Current guiding, i.e. Eight Trigrams-yin and yang guiding. The propagated
sensation along channel, co-frequency resonance and current potential energy are adopted.
The propagated sensation along channel is the operation of 12 meridians; co-frequency

resonance refers to movement of qi and blood in acupoints; and current potential energy is
