I don’t think physical work is descent. They work long times and get low
salaries.Most jobs of manual labor are discriminated by a lot of people.
Side 2 argument：

From my point of view,Many manual labors respect labor, love labor,and
create a happy life with their hands. Their work is decent;on the other hand, physical
workers contribute greatly to society, from construction to manufacturing and other
infrastructure and social production fields ,which greatly promote social progress.

Side 1 argument：
In addition,many manual labors require professional skills, and great artisans and
skilled craftsmen are their outstanding representatives.
The opposite side 2 argument :

You may ignore some facts: manual labors work long hours and have high level
intensity, but their remuneration is low, resulting in a long standard of living;manual
workers have an underground social status,and many jobs are discriminated against
others,such as cleaners, domestic workers and so on.
The opposite side 1 argument :

I’d like to point out that due to the lack of technical content and strong
substitutable, most of the jobs of manual laborers lack long term safeguards, which not
to mention decency ,even lack the least basic sense of security.

Side 1 argument summary:
To conclude, as long as it is law-abiding, honest work, and make contributions
to society, it is decent. Work, no matter how high or low, no matter how big or small,
deserves the respect of each of us. As college students, we should establish a correct
career view and treat each career objectively and fairly.

The opposite side 1 argument summary:
To sum up, it is an indisputable fact that manual workers are looked down upon
because of their low income and low social status, and I hope the other debaters will

not confuse the public. We must face the reality and effectively solve the problems
of income, social security and social status of manual workers, so as to enhance their
sense of security and gain.
