ABSTRACT

The research on modern archive management and archive informatization
has profound significance for improving the efficiency of archive management
and promoting social development. From a management perspective, traditional
archive management has drawbacks such as low efficiency and vulnerability
to destruction. However, the integration of modern management methods
and information technology can optimize the processes of archive collection,
organization, and storage, achieve rapid retrieval and precise utilization of archive
resources, and greatly improve management efficiency. From the perspective of
social development, archive informatization has broken the limitations of time and
space, enabling remote sharing of archive resources and providing strong support
for multiple fields such as scientific research, education, and culture. In the field of
government affairs, electronic archives help “Internet plus government services”
to improve government office efficiency and service transparency; In terms of
cultural inheritance, digital archives can permanently preserve precious historical
materials, allowing cultural heritage to be better inherited and disseminated.
Studying modern archive management and informatization can enhance the
security and reliability of archives, and reduce the risk of archive loss and damage
through technical means such as data encryption and backup. This is not only
an inevitable trend in the development of archive management itself, but also
an important guarantee for adapting to the digital age and promoting efficient
development in various fields of society. This book is based on the basic theory
of archive management, elaborating on the management strategies of fixed asset
archives, administrative office archives, digital document archives, and electronic
archives. It also analyzes the development and utilization of archive resources,
as well as the opportunities and challenges of modern archive management and
               archive information construction.
