ABSTRACT





                   This book focuses on the manufacturing process of automotive suspension
               shock absorbers, deeply integrating theory and practice, and constructing a

               comprehensive and systematic knowledge system, providing valuable references
               for relevant practitioners and researchers.
                   The introduction section of the first chapter clarifies the research background
               and significance, elaborates on the basic concepts of automotive suspension shock

               absorbers, analyzes the current research status at home and abroad, introduces the
               content arrangement, research methods, and innovative points of this book, laying
               the foundation for subsequent content. Chapter 2 focuses on fundamental theory
               and design, covering the functional positioning of shock absorbers in suspension

               systems, hydraulic damping principles, thermodynamic effects, and comparison
               of different types of shock absorbers. It also involves advanced technologies
               such as vibration coupling analysis, magnetorheological shock absorber design,
               and active control algorithms. Chapter 3 delves into the core material science of

               shock absorbers, conducting detailed research on cylinder body materials, piston
               rod surface treatment, sealing materials, shock absorber fluids, etc., establishing
               material failure modes and life prediction models, and providing scientific basis for
               material selection and application. Chapter 4 introduces the manufacturing process

               system of shock absorbers, including key technologies such as deep hole machining
               of cylinder bodies, laser micro hole machining of piston valve plates, welding
               processes, as well as assembly cleanliness control, process parameter optimization,
               and fully automatic assembly line design. Chapter 5 closely follows the trends of

               intelligent manufacturing and digitization, elaborating on the practices of digital
               twin, machine vision inspection, flexible manufacturing systems, industrial robot
               applications, and digital mainline technology in shock absorber manufacturing.
