In this era, we have delved into rural areas, fields, and the lives of farmers,
conducting a series of solid research work. We have seen the vibrant vitality of
the rural economy under policy support: some rural areas have developed rural
tourism based on their unique natural resources, with farmhouses and homestays
emerging like mushrooms after rain, attracting tourists and driving the integrated
development of multiple industries such as catering, accommodation, and
agricultural product sales; Some rural areas have utilized modern technology
to develop smart agriculture, achieving precise planting and breeding, greatly
improving the yield and quality of agricultural products, and even selling
agricultural products to various parts of the country and even entering the
international market through e-commerce platforms; Some rural areas have also
established farmer professional cooperatives, integrated resources, and developed
together to enhance farmers’ voice and competitiveness in the market, allowing
farmers to obtain more benefits in industrial development.
We are well aware that the development of rural economy is not achieved
overnight, it requires continuous exploration and innovation, and the joint efforts
of the whole society. The purpose of writing this book is to deeply analyze the
current situation of rural economic development under the background of rural
revitalization, summarize experiences and lessons, and explore new paths and
models for rural economic development. We hope that through this book, we
can provide useful references and inspirations for rural workers, policy makers,
scholars, and all those who care about rural development, and contribute wisdom
and strength to promoting the prosperity and development of rural economy and
achieving comprehensive rural revitalization.
On the road of rural revitalization, a new chapter is being written in the
development of rural economy. We firmly believe that with the continuous growth
of rural economy, rural areas will become more beautiful and prosperous, farmers’
lives will be happier and healthier, and rural areas will shine brighter in the journey
of modernization.
