Participant E: Even it is for non-commercial purpose, you should tell me first. You can leave

Huang: If he asks for your permission, would you like to permit?
Participant E: Yes, even it is for free.
Huang: Live streaming is very popular, have you or your friends tried?
Participant E: Not yet. Maybe because students in our university tend to more stick to
traditional values and believe only through step-by-step effort can we achieve success.
Huang: If one day your account has attracted enough fans. You can earn income through
fans’ reward and even advertisements. Would you like to pay for the inserted music?
Participant E: Then I am willing to pay. Honestly, I pay in order to earn more.
Huang: How much would you like to pay? Proportional charges? Or?
Participant E: In a form of dividend. For instance, if the advertisement gives me 10,000
yuan, I would like to give the copyright owner…200 yuan. Haha, about 2%.
Huang: I wonder whether you have any student doing sampling or remix? For example, the
song that remixes seven songs. Who thought of this idea?
Participant E: We thought about it together, and then assign one to remix. In fact, that’s me.
I downloaded a free software named “MP3 cut master.” By combining the climaxes of
other songs, I made a new song.
Huang: Is it difficult? How long did it take?
Participant E: An evening.
Huang: It seems not a short time.
Participant E: Most of the time is for listening. I need to record the exact time, i.e., the exact
minute and second, and then cut and remix. And then I have to listen to the new song for
several times to see if it is what I want.
Huang: So this song has never been used again after the show?
Participant E: No, it is just for the show.
Huang: Have you ever thought of uploaded it to Youku or tudou?
Participant E: No.
Huang: Do you think the current copyright law has any influence on UGC?
Participant E: (think for 5 seconds) Yes, I think so. For instance, the reproduction of
commercial account is restricted by copyright law.
Huang: If others reproduce your article with attribution, it is actually doing free
advertisement for you. So why do you still require permission?
Participant E: Because readers can hardly trace back to your account through your name.
Huang: I get it. Reproducing is like attracting fans for others. So if an account always
