Geological hazard management and ecological environment restoration
are interrelated and complementary. Effective geological disaster management
can create a safe and stable foundation for ecological environment restoration,
avoiding further damage to the ecological environment due to disasters. Ecological
environment restoration helps to enhance surface vegetation coverage, stabilize
soil and rock mass, improve the disaster resistance of regional ecosystems, and
thereby reduce the frequency and severity of geological disasters. Based on
this, this book elaborates on geological hazards and ecological environment
overview, typical geological hazard types and characteristics, geological hazard
management technology system, ecological environment restoration theory and
methods, collaborative governance of geological hazards and ecological restoration,
geological hazard monitoring and early warning and information technology,
policy regulations and management mechanisms, typical case analysis and practice,
international cooperation and global perspective, future development trends and
cutting-edge technologies.
