low-carbon life.
Supply chain integration and the rise of shared economy. Supply chain integration
is an important development direction of e-commerce logistics in the future. Through
the collaborative cooperation of multiple suppliers, e-commerce enterprises can achieve
more efficient cargo scheduling and transportation, and improve the flexibility and ac-
curacy of distribution. The rise of sharing economy also provides new opportunities
for e-commerce logistics. By sharing distribution network and resources, it can reduce
operating costs and improve service level.
The development trend of e-commerce logistics in the future points to intelligence,
efficiency and sustainable development. The application of technologies and concepts
such as big data, artificial intelligence, unmanned aerial vehicles, unmanned vehicles,
automated storage, green logistics, supply chain integration and shared economy will
promote the further development of e-commerce logistics industry and provide con-
sumers with better logistics service experience. With the continuous innovation and
improvement of technology, the e-commerce logistics industry will surely usher in a
better future.
3.2.2 the e-commerce enterprise’s carbon neutral plan
June 15 is the “National Low Carbon Day”, and the theme of this year is “Imple-
menting the” Double Carbon “Action to Build a beautiful homeland”, which coincides
with the “618” e-commerce year. In fact, compared with industries such as steel and
transportation, which already have a clearer carbon reduction path, the growing energy
demand and carbon emissions of Internet companies represented by e-commerce plat-
forms have become major challenges on the carbon neutralization path, affecting peak
carbon dioxide emissions in China and the carbon neutralization process.
According to the “Research Report on Total Greenhouse Gas Emissions from
E-commerce Enterprises in China” (hereinafter referred to as the “Research Report”)
released by China Energy Foundation, China’s e-commerce enterprises’ carbon emis-
sions increased by 105% from 2016 to 2020, 18 times the growth rate of the country’s
total carbon emissions during the same period, with an average annual growth rate of
21%. Moreover, the total carbon emissions of e-commerce enterprises will continue to
grow rapidly in the next five years, and are expected to reach 116 million tons in 2025.
By 2025, China’s high-quality e-commerce development has achieved remarkable
results. The new format and model of e-commerce have developed vigorously, the core
competitiveness of enterprises has been greatly enhanced, online retail continues to
