Betrayal

—— Jeroboam II, Zechariah, Shallum, Menahem, Pekah and Hoshea

As wicked as predecessor but not to be abolished,
the name is not blotted out under mercy and grace.

For half a year the son of Jeroboam just reigned,
Shallum conspired and assassinated the king at once.

Descendants sat on the throne to the fourth generation,

presenting the fulfilled prediction beyond all doubts.
The upcoming man Menahem was more brutal and inhuman,
cruelly ripping open pregnant women for refusing to open gates.

A foul wind and a rain of blood forced in reactionary power,
silver and gold were sent as a gift to the king of Assyria.
It shall wait for the more vicious one to eliminate evildoer,
justice comes late but for accumulating the righteous anger.

Selfish desires tyrannize to accelerate death phase,
and the changes of dynasties shall make a way for virtues.
