                                  Figure 46-1a Figure 46-1b

                     2. With the heel pivoting, the right foot turns in, the body turning left. At
the same time, with the toes turned up, the left leg twining directly sways left and

                 look forward. (Figure 46-2)

                     3. With the heel pivoting, the left foot turns out on the ball, the toes pointing
north. The left foot lands on the ground solidly. At the same time, with the left hip
joint relaxed, the torso turns left, the crotch moving in a shallow concave curve to
shift the weight left. With the heel off the ground, the right foot twining reverse-
ly turns in on the ball. Remaining crossed at wrist, the palms make fists, twining
reversely to sink down and forward, with the hearts of fists facing each other, the
eyes of fists facing in. Baihui (GV20) is gently pulled up. (Figure 46-3)
                     4. Remaining crossed at wrist, the fists twining directly rise up in an outer arc
to pause in front of the chest, with the hearts of fists facing in, the elbows dropping.
At the same time, with the left hip sinking, the right knee twining reversely rises,
the eight elbow aligning with the eight knee. The eyes look forward. (Figure 46-4)
