ending in front of the right shoulder, the right chest being opened. The two fists
end with the hearts of fists facing each other, flexed at wrist, the elbows closing in.

2. Relax the left hip joint. With the heel pivoting, the left foot turns out on the
ball, the toes pointing southwest.
Without a pause, the weight shifts onto the left leg. The right knee rises, and
the right foot twining reversely steps down to the right of the left one, the heel off
the ground. The feet are parallel, shoulder-width apart. At the same time, the left
fist twining directly ascends in a concave curve to rest in front of the right shoulder,
the heart of fist facing right, the eye of fist facing in. With the right elbow closing
in, the right fist twining reversely thrusts down in a convex curve, ending in front
of the abdomen, the heart of fist facing right, the eye of fist facing in. The eyes look
right and forward (northwest). (Figure 53-2)

Note: In Movement 2, as the right fist thrusts down, the back keeps upright,
and baihui (GV20) is gently pulled up. The internal energy goes through the right
shoulder, the right elbow and the right palm in sequence.
Posture 54 Hai Di Fan Hua (Overturn Ocean Waves)
The weight shifts onto the left leg. With the heel pivoting, the left foot turns
approximately 90 degrees in, and lands on the ground solidly, with the toes point-
ing northwest, the body turning right. At the same time, with the left hip sinking,
the right leg turns out, the right knee rising. With the right shoulder point pivoting,
the right fist twining directly arcs up, right and down to smash outside the right hip,
the heart of fist facing up, the eye of fist facing right, the right arm rounded. The
