turns in on the ball. At the same time, the right fist twining reversely pushes right
and up, slightly higher than the right shoulder, the heart of fist facing right and
up, the right elbow aligning with the right knee; and the left one twining reversely
pushes left and down, resting outside the left hip, the heart of fist facing left and
down. The arms are rounded, leaving the armpits empty. The eyes look left and
forward (west). (Figure 56-1)
2. The weight shifts onto the left leg. With the heel off the ground, the right
foot twining directly sweeps backward on the ball in an outer arc, the toes pointing
east by north, the body turning right. With the heel pivoting, the left foot turns in,
the toes pointing northeast. At the same time, the left fist twining directly goes up
and forward, the heart of fist facing up; and the right one twining directly travels
down and backward, resting on the left forearm, close to the left elbow, in front of
the left chest, the heart of fist facing up. (Figure 56-2)
