Global Climate Change and Its Impacts

tional cooperation to address climate change and play a leading role within it.
Leveraging their significant advantages in technology, funding, and experience, devel-
oped countries will deeply engage in various international climate cooperation projects. In
renewable energy project development, enterprises and research institutions from developed
countries will collaborate with developing nations to assist in constructing renewable energy
facilities such as solar power plants and wind farms. For instance, German energy companies
have invested in solar power projects in several African countries, introducing advanced so-
lar power technologies and management expertise to local regions, enhancing the utilization
of renewable energy, reducing reliance on traditional fossil fuels, and lowering carbon emis-
sions. In the field of low-carbon city planning, developed countries will share experiences
and technologies in urban planning, building energy efficiency, and traffic management with
developing nations. Some developed countries prioritize developing public transportation,
constructing green buildings, and creating urban ecological spaces in their urban planning.
Through international cooperation, these concepts and technologies are disseminated to
developing countries, aiding them in building low-carbon, livable cities. Simultaneously,
developed countries will also provide financial assistance to developing nations, establishing
funding support channels such as the Green Climate Fund, to help implement climate change
response projects, including climate-resilient agricultural initiatives and forest Carbon Sink
Capacityecological conservation projects, enhancing developing countries’ capacity to ad-
               dress climate change.
Furthermore, developed countries will exert greater influence in shaping international
climate regulations. In international climate negotiations, leveraging their advantages in cli-
mate research and policy implementation, developed nations will advocate for higher global
emission reduction targets and stricter environmental standards. By actively participating in
the revision and refinement of international climate conventions, they will promote the estab-
lishment of a more equitable and effective global climate governance system. For instance,
during the subsequent implementation and enhancement of the Paris Agreement, developed
countries will take a leading role in urging nations to furtherClarify Emission Reduction
Responsibilitiesand action plans, promoting global sustainable development. Developed
countries will also utilize their influence in international organizations and multilateral coop-
eration mechanisms to advance coordination and collaboration in global climate governance,
integrate worldwide resources, jointly tackle the global challenge of climate change, and cre-
ate a brighter future for humanity.
