University Press. 1997) The poem has contained many metaphors of thoughts and
language in source Chinese, what’s more, it has integrated the description of human
language features by two scholars into the source content. Consequently, the translation
process shall not be with too much metaphor, analogy or other rhetoric to embellish
source language again, however, it adopts literal translation way to come straight to the

point with concise and explicit sentence pattern in lightsome and expressive sense.
The style of poetry translation in this anthology is basically in accordance with
original work, either in fresh and natural, or in reserved and introverted way; either in
free and random, or in overcautious and neat way; either in exquisite short length or
in rough broad manner, which are not modified generally. Furthermore, illustrations
of poetry translation are mostly chosen from daily photography works of author,
presented in direct corresponding way, indirect abstract way, partial correlative
way, or connotative metaphorical way, etc., which could be another type of artistic
interpretation for poetry and translation in various and abundant patterns to be

demonstrated for readers.
