requires to deconstruct the shackles of words and literature, surpassing the literature of
carnal desire, to observe profoundly by grand and ethereal patterns of manifestation.
It’s not easy to achieve the richness of poetry. The consciousness of hardship is
the nourishment of poetry. The metaphysical thinking is to make poetry profound. The
belonging of emotions reflects the colors of poetry. The train of thoughts weaves the

clothes of poetry. The fleeting time brews and ferments poetry quietly. In a twinkling,
anything that vanishes in a flash, which strikes floating clouds and flowing water. It
pours out, sometimes, comes across obstacles. In tossing and turning, it gushes out with
overwhelming power till to be integrated into river or lake. At the moment of ease and
verve, it stops abruptly again. When it comes to abundant gracious rain, the melodies of
poetry agitate and cheer till melting into that life sea.
The language of poetry is pictorial, for each frame is a painting. It’s also
philosophical, which leads to untraversed footpath. The image of poetry is concrete or
abstract, intersecting virtuality and reality which is real and sincere but not illusory or

apopathetic. The structure of poetry could be planned at one stretch, or interlaced with
brightness and darkness, and good and evil in a delightful contrast. The form of poetry
could be free or prudent, which should echo and respond to the center of expression.
The aesthetic value of poetry is not only represented by abundant wording, delicate
forms, regular rhymes, ingenious images, and exterior magnificent ornaments, but also
the bitterness of survival, the deep pool of human nature, the dignity and transcendence
of human, facing honestly and confessing from the bottom of heart, which enable the

soul nowhere to place to enter into the paradise of rest.
The form of poetry translation could be complicated or simplified. As professor
Zhao Yanchun says, “Any text could be embodied by the tension between form and
sense of language. However, the tension between form and sense in some texts could
be ignored, especially, form could be or have to be neglected. On the other hand, the
tension between form and sense in other texts would be increased. Whenever form
is meaningful or it’s significance itself, target text should be ‘revealed in form’ by
analogy. The task of translator is to harness the relationship of form and sense, what
requires to mainly manage the coordinative function to solve contradiction in the
