洪水涨得更高时，牛郎走了出去。他又一次试图拯救小麦。老牛陷在泥里，站不

起来了。她告诉牛郎要永远躲在他身边。然后她死了。暴风雨来袭了。天兵们从
乌云中现出原形，抓着，越来越近。在风暴的深处，有什么东西在挣扎。这就像
是最明亮早晨的黎明。那是他的爱，他的织女。她被她的祖母拖上了天空！牛郎
披上牛皮，也飞上了天空。他追着织女，飞得越来越快。“等我！”牛郎喊道。

“牛郎，带我回家，”织女哭着说。“不！”她的祖母喊道。她用金色的发夹划
破了天空。织女听到天空裂成两半。透过裂缝，银河系的星星闪闪发光。裂缝的
一边是织女，另一边是牛郎。从那天起，织女和牛郎就被银河分开了。在农历第
七个月的第七天，喜鹊鸟在天空中编织一座桥。织女和牛郎在桥中间相遇，再次

团聚。在每年的这一天，每个人都在庆祝爱情，即使是织女的祖母。这一天被称
为中国情人节。

Meet Mr. Fox. He lives on a mountain with many other animals. Best friends
Mr. Butterfly, Mr. Rabbit, and Mr. Monkey live next to Mr. and Mrs. Bird. But there
is one animal that is especially important--Mr. Tiger!All the other animals are afraid
of Mr. Tiger because he is big and strong.You might even call Mr. Tiger the king of

said, while licking his lips.“You look delicious, and I can’t wait to eat you up!”Mr.
Fox’s eyes blinked open. “What-?” he mumbled, before realizing that he was
looking at Mr. Tiger. “OH!” he yelped as he sat up quickly. “Hello, Mr. Tiger, how
