Feedback and communication mechanisms act as vital linkages throughout the opera-
tion of the continuous improvement framework. During the implementation of adaptation
measures, multiple stakeholders including government agencies, enterprises, and community
residents hold diverse perceptions and feedback. To comprehensively gather input, diversi-
fied and accessible feedback channels must be established. Setting up opinion boxes allows
stakeholders to submit written views and suggestions; conducting questionnaires with scien-
tifically designed content helps fully understand satisfaction levels and problem awareness
across different groups; organizing community forums provides face-to-face communication
platforms for residents to directly express practical issues encountered during implemen-
tation. For instance, community residents can intuitively identify operational flaws in local
adaptation measures through daily life experiences. In urban public green space projects, res-
idents might report unreasonable site selection (e.g., excessive distance from residential ar-
eas causing inconvenience) or inadequate maintenance (e.g., overgrown weeds and damaged
facilities). Enterprises participating in adaptation projects also encounter various challenges.
When engaging in new energy projects, companies may highlight insufficient policy support
or financing obstacles. Systematic collation and in-depth analysis of such feedback provides
comprehensive perspectives for monitoring and evaluation. When assessing urban green
space projects, resident feedback should be incorporated as key indicators in evaluation sys-
tems to ensure assessments reflect real-world conditions. Simultaneously, feedback informs
practical adjustments and optimizations. Based on residents’ input regarding green space
planning and maintenance, relevant departments can modify planning schemes, enhance
maintenance management, refine adaptation measures, and continuously improve climate
change response capabilities through this iterative improvement mechanism.
III. Innovation and Pilot Promotion of Climate Change Adaptation
Measures
Under the severe circumstances of global climate change, traditional adaptation mea-
sures have gradually revealed their limitations in addressing complex and ever-changing cli-
mate challenges. Therefore, encouraging innovation in climate change adaptation measures
and actively developing pilot projects have become key pathways to explore more effective
response strategies. This not only helps discover novel and efficient adaptation approaches
but also enables the accumulation of experience through pilot programs, laying the founda-
tion for promoting successful models across broader regions.
Innovation serves as the core driving force for advancing climate change adaptation
measures. From the perspective of technological innovation, emerging technologies con-
tinue to emerge, offering new possibilities for climate adaptation. In the agricultural sector,
gene-editing technology shows potential for developing crop varieties better adapted to ex-
treme climatic conditions. Through precise genetic modifications of crops, their tolerance to
