Tsinghua University’s campus greening projects and sustainable development education

staff with a more comfortable learning and working environment.

reduction measures, Huawei has significantly reduced its own carbon emissions and, through
the “Green Initiative” plan, encourages employees to participate in community environmen-

By developing high-efficiency communication equipment and data centers, Huawei has
significantly reduced energy consumption andcarbon emissionsThe following are several
specific green technology innovation projects:
① High-efficiency communication equipment: Huawei has developed a series of
high-efficiency communication devices, such as base stations and routers, which significant-
ly reduce energy consumption through optimized design and material selection. For example,
Huawei’s 5G base stations employ advanced energy-saving technologies that automatically
reduce power consumption under low-load conditions, thereby decreasing carbon emissions.
② Data center energy-saving technologies: Huawei has implemented multiple ener-
gy-saving technologies in data center construction, such as liquid cooling systems and intel-
ligent energy management systems. These technologies not only improve the energy utiliza-
