2.3.2 to promote low-carbon product innovation
The 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly put forward
that “scientific and technological innovation is the strategic support to improve social
productivity and comprehensive national strength and must be placed at the core of the
overall national development”. At the 30th anniversary celebration of Pudong’s devel-
opment and opening up, General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out: “Science and tech-
nology have never had such a profound impact on the country’s future and destiny, and
never have they had such a profound impact on the people’s happiness and well-being.
More than ever before, China’s economic and social development needs scientific and
technological solutions, and needs to strengthen innovation as the first driving force. “
Technological innovation is the basic support for the industry model innovation in
the field of e-commerce. To strengthen the application of technological innovation as
the primary task for the high-quality development of e-commerce, we should strength-
en the support and guidance for the relevant entities such as e-commerce enterprises to
carry out technological innovation and application, and strive to be the world leader in
the innovation and application of the underlying technologies of e-commerce on the ba-
sis that China has become the largest online retail market in the world, so as to further
improve the competitive advantage of China’s e-commerce industry.
To strengthen the technological application innovation in the field of e-commerce,
it is necessary to guide e-commerce enterprises to strengthen the construction of inno-
vation foundation capacity and to enhance the level of patents, standardization, brand-
ing, systematization and specialization of enterprises; Encourage e-commerce enterpris-
es to enhance their core competitiveness through independent innovation and original
innovation, and promote the integrated innovation and integrated application of 5G, big
data, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, block chain, virtual reality/augmented
reality and other new generation information technologies in the field of e-commerce;
Accelerate the industrialization of e-commerce technology, optimize the rapid transfor-
mation mechanism of innovative achievements, encourage platform enterprises to ex-
pand the integration channel for Industry-University-Research, and provide rich e-com-
merce products and applications for digital technology; Encourage the development of
commercial science and technology, explore the construction of a full-link application
system of commercial science and technology, support enterprises to increase invest-
ment in research and development of commercial science and technology, improve the
efficiency of operation and management, innovate user scenarios, and enhance the level
