                   (3) Practice of Ecological Restoration
                   In practice, ecological restoration may include measures such as replanting native veg-
               etation, establishing ecological buffer zones, improving water quality, and providing wildlife
               corridors. These measures help restore the natural dynamics of ecosystems, enhance their
               adaptability to climate change, and provide more stable habitats for wildlife. For instance,
               reintroducing native species can restore food webs and ecological interactions, improving
               the overall health and stability of ecosystems. Concurrently, enhancing soil quality and hy-
               drological conditions can boost ecosystem productivity and resilience.
                   II. Enhancement of Ecological Connectivity


                   (1) Importance of Ecological Corridor Construction
                   Ecological corridors, serving as vital pathways for species’ living, movement, and mi-
               gration, facilitate and maintain habitat connectivity between isolated habitat patches. They
               enable free dispersal and migration of species across fragmented habitats, enhance genetic
               exchange, prevent population isolation, maintain minimum viable populations, and protect
               biodiversity. The construction of ecological corridors represents a crucial approach in eco-
               logical planning,It is an important measure to address the ecosystem fragmentation caused
               by intense human activities and the resulting numerous ecological environmental issues.
                   (II)Design Methods of Ecological Corridors
                   The design of ecological corridors requires consideration of multiple factors, includ-
               ing topography, vegetation types, species’ ecological requirements, and migration patterns.
               Currently, biodiversity conservation corridors addressing habitat fragmentation have become
               a research hotspot in international ecological fields in recent years. In China, biodiversity
               conservation and ecological corridor construction have been elevated to an unprecedented
               level in recent years, with a series of national regulations and policies being successively in-
               troduced. However, how to integrate the characteristics of China’s biodiversity conservation
               and identify applicable methods for constructing biodiversity conservation corridors in China
               remains a critical issue that urgently needs resolution.
                   (III)Other Methods to Promote Species Migration
                   In addition to ecological corridor construction, there are other methods to promote spe-
               cies migration and enhance ecological connectivity. For example, climate connectivity proj-
               ects aim to predict and map potential migration paths for species under climate change while
               protecting these critical areas. Furthermore, ecological trails and wildlife crossings can re-
               duce barriers to species migration, such as mortality caused by roads and railways. Through
               these measures, we can provide safer migration routes for species and mitigate the impacts
               of human activities on them.
                   (IV) Ecological Functions of Ecological Corridors
                   The primary function of ecological corridors lies in their role for biodiversity conser-
               vation. Establishing rational ecological corridors between relatively isolated habitat patches
