                  8. Relax the left hip joint, and turn the torso left. At the same time, move the
              crotch in a shallow concave curve to shift the weight right into a right-weighted,
              side bow-stance, with the right toes turned in and the right knee drawn in, the ball
              of the right foot touching the ground solidly. With the left palm remaining in place,
              the right one twining further directly extends further up to the left front, the right
              shoulder protruding. (Figure 3-8)

                  9. Relax the right hip joint, and turn the torso slightly right, facing north. At
              the same time, with the left palm sticking to the right forearm, the right palm twin-
              ing reversely rotates out, facing out, the back of hand against the outside part of the
