                      4. Relax the right hip joint. Sink the right buttock and turn the left one, with
the torso turning right. At the same time, with the wrists remaining crossed, the
palms twining further reversely lift (wrists leading) to pause at chest level, facing
each other, the fingers pointing down, the right elbow protruding.
Without a pause, turn the torso further right. At the same time, remaining con-
nected at wrist, the left palm twining directly and the right one further reversely,
push up to the right front in an inward arc, with the left palm facing in, the fingers
pointing right and backward, and the right one facing out, the fingers pointing left
and forward, the right elbow aligning with the right knee, mingmen (GV4) slightly
expanded. The eyes look right and forward. (Figure 4-4)

left front (wrist leading) of the left shoulder, the fingers pointing down and right,
with the left elbow aligning with the left knee; and the right one twining further di-
rectly arcs down, left and up to end in front of the chest, facing up, with the fingers
pointing right and forward. At the end of their travel, the left “grasp” and the right
palm have a forearm-length separation between them, with the left one over the
right. The eyes look right and forward. (Figure 4-5)
