                  1. Relax the right hip joint, and turn the torso slightly right, with the weight
              shifting slightly left and sinking spirally down. At the same time, the left palm
              twining directly thrusts up and forward; and the right fist twining directly with-
              draws to the inside of the left elbow. Baihui (GV20) is gently pulled up. (Figure
              16-1)

                  2. Relax the left hip joint, and turn the torso left, with the weight shifting
              onto the right leg. At the same time, the left palm twines reversely to make a half-
              clenched fist and withdraw to under the right elbow, the heart of fist facing down;
              and the right fist, remaining in its place, twines reversely to rotate in, the heart of
              fist facing down. The chest is drawn in. The eyes look down to the right front. (Fig-
              ure 16-2)
                  3. Turn the torso further left. At the same time, both feet turn out on the balls,
              the heels off the ground. The half-clenched left fist splits up to the left rear; and the
              right fist becomes half-clenched and splits down to the right front. The eyes look up
              to the right rear. (Figure 16-3)
                  4. The left foot twining directly jumps up first, and the right one twining re-
              versely follows. The keens lead energy, with the crotch sinking. The body turns
              360 degrees in the air. The feet land on the ground at the same time, forming a
              horse-riding stance, the torso facing southwest. The two half-clenched fists open
              into palms. With the shoulder joints pivoting, the right palm twining directly and
