one, the heart of fist facing up. The right fist twines directly to withdraw in, pausing
inside the left forearm, the heart of fist facing up. The eyes look in the direction of
the punch. (Figure 58-1)
2. Relax the left hip joint. Sink the left buttock and turn the right one, with the
torso turning left. At the same time, the right fist twines reversely to punch up to
the left front in a concave curve over the left one, the heart of fist facing down. The
left fist twines directly to withdraw in, pausing outside the right forearm, the heart
of fist facing down. The eyes look in the direction of the punch. (Figure 58-2)
3. Relax the right hip joint. Sink the right buttock and turn the left one, with
the torso turning right. At the same time, the left fist twines directly to punch up to
the left front in a concave curve over the right one, the heart of fist facing up. The
right fist twines directly to withdraw in, pausing inside the left forearm, the heart of

Posture 59 Yu Nü Chuan Suo (Fairy Threads Shuttles)
1. The weight shifts onto the left leg. With the left hip sinking, the right knee
twining reversely rises, the torso turning slightly left. At the same time, with the
left chest opened, the left fist twining directly withdraws to end against the left rib,
the heart of fist facing up; and the right one twining slightly directly punches for-
ward in a concave curve, the heart of fist facing up, the right elbow aligning with
the right knee. The eyes look forward (east). (Figure 59-1)
