attitude, guiding medical students to “cultivate benevolence, practice magic, and
                 shoulder missions”. Looking ahead to the future, with the continuous deepening of
                 internationalization of medical education and the continuous promotion of medical
                 globalization, the improvement of medical students’ English proficiency will
                 become more important and urgent. Therefore, medical students should continue to
                 maintain their enthusiasm and motivation for learning English, constantly explore
                 and practice effective learning methods and strategies, and strive to become
                 medical talents with an international perspective and competitiveness.
                     This book is divided into five chapters. Chapter 1 covers the requirements
                 for medical English proficiency, including medical English vocabulary, medical
                 English reading, medical English writing, and research progress in medical
                 English; Chapter 2 is about the education and teaching of medical English courses,
                 including ideological and political education in medical English courses, teaching
                 strategies, teaching practices, teaching models, and reform and innovation in
                 medical English teaching; Chapter 3 is about medical English teaching resources,
                 including the construction and application of digital teaching resources, the
                 construction of medical English teaching resource libraries, and the utilization of
                 medical English teaching network resources; Chapter 4 is about the cultivation
                 of medical English application ability, including strategies for improving medical
                 students’ professional English ability, the current situation and motivation of
                 medical students’ English learning, and the cultivation of medical students’
                 practical English application ability; Chapter 5 is about the development and
                 innovation of medical English proficiency training, including innovative English
                 teaching models to improve the English proficiency of medical students and the
                 sustainable development of English learning ability for medical college students.
