melody of Hakka folk songs is integrated into the music classroom, when the
local dissemination history of the Communist Manifesto becomes ideological and
political material, and when students understand the spirit of craftsmanship in
the practice of restoring local cultural relics, these educational innovations that

occur in vocational colleges vividly interpret the concept of vocational education
personnel who combine morality and technology. As a vocational school student
who participated in the practice said, “When I learned that the old machine tool
factory in my hometown had made great contributions to the construction of

the country, the hand holding the lathe suddenly had a different weight”. This
emotional resonance and value recognition inspired by local culture is exactly the
educational essence that this book seeks.
Standing at a new starting point in the construction of a cultural powerhouse,

the exploration of this book not only concerns the effectiveness improvement of
vocational education, but also carries a dual mission: to enable vocational college
students to establish a “root” cognition in the infiltration of local culture and
understand the cultural origins of “where do I come from”; We should also guide

them to clarify their era responsibility of “where to go” in their skill development,
and transform the innovative genes of local culture into practical capabilities for
building the country. This is not only a localized response to the fundamental issue
of “what kind of people to cultivate, how to cultivate people, and for whom to

cultivate people” in education, but also the mission and responsibility of vocational
education to serve cultural inheritance and innovation.
