3. Turn the torso further left. At the same time, with the toes turned in, the
right foot touches the ground solidly; and the crotch moves in a shallow concave
curve to shift the weight right. The right palm twining directly extends further up to
the left front, with the right shoulder protruding. (Figure 22-3)
4. The palms twining reversely push out, facing out, the back of the right one
on the outside part of the left forearm, and the center of the left one on the inside
part of the right forearm, mingmen (GV4) slightly extended. (Figure 22-4)
5. Relax the right hip joint, and turn the torso right, with the weight shifting
slightly left. At the same time, the palms twining reversely arc up and out, with the
left one above the left foot, and the right one above the right foot. The two palms
end up facing out, with the fingers pointing up.
Without a pause, relax the left hip joint, and turn the torso left, the weight
shifting slightly right into a right-weighted, horse-riding stance. At the same time,
the palms twining directly close in, facing forward (southeast), slightly above
shoulders. The eyes look forward. (Figure 22-5)

1. With the hip joints relaxed, the palms sink their bases.
Sink the right buttock and turn the left one, with the torso turning right, the
weight shifting slightly left, but still more on the right, mingmen (GV4) expanded.
