Gauze-separated pulse diagnosis
The physician spreads a single layer of gauze flat on the wrist of the patient, and then
locates and feels the pulse with three fingers for diagnosis. When locating with three fingers,
press the middle finger after the palm, locate Guan based on the high bone, locate Cun with
the index finger before Guan, and Chi with the ring finger after Guan, slightly bend the
fingers into an arch, with the finger tips flush, and diagnose the pulse with the finger pulps
touching the pulse. It is called the gauze-separated pulse diagnosis.
Tongue diagnosis
Because the tongue will turn red or crimson after one eats warm or irritating food, and
the tongue coating will become moist after drinking water, which will affect the diagnosis
and judgment of tongue diagnosis. Therefore, before tongue diagnosis, it is necessary to ask
the patient to gargle three times and then diagnose 3 times 15 minutes after gargling. At this
time, the condition can be accurately judged by tongue diagnosis, and eating, drinking and
smoking are prohibited during the period.
Three-finger tumor diagnosis, six-needle
and nine-suspension diagnosis and 28 pulse diagnoses
Three-finger tumor diagnosis
为患者在寸脉、关脉、尺脉处把脉辩证肿瘤癌症:寸脉,因位置距离“掌骨”一寸;
关脉,往里面一点就是“内关穴” 的位置,在尺骨与桡骨之间,穿过去就是 “外关穴”;
Cancer diagnosis at Cun Pulse, Guan Pulse and Chi Pulse: Cun Pulse is so called as it is
1 cun away from metacarpal bone; Guan Pulse, a little inward from Cun Pulse, i.e. Neiguan
acupoint, between the ulna and radius, with Waiguan acupoint outside; and Chi pulse, one
cun from Quchi acupoint. In Traditional Chinese medicine, the human body is divided into
three parts from top to bottom, i.e. the triple energizer (Jiao) zones (Sanjiao). Three fingers
