Table Tennis 乒乓球
Table tennis has always been one of the favorite sports of the Chinese people.
Since Rong Guotuan won the first World Championship in 1959, the Chinese table
tennis team has won more than 120 World Championships for the country for more
than 40 years. Deng Yaping, Liu Guoliang, Kong Linghui, Zhang Yining, Wang Nan

and Ma Long have become well-known table tennis stars. On July 30, 2021, Ma Long
won the men’s singles champion of table tennis in the Tokyo Olympic Games.

第一个世界冠军至今，中国乒乓球队 40 多年来为国家夺取 120 多个世界冠军。

2021 年 7 月 30 日，马龙获得东京奥运会乒乓球男单冠军。

Volleyball is a popular sport in China. Chinese women’s volleyball team has

become a world champion for ten times. Gymnastics is a traditional sport in China.
Chinese gymnastics team is the team that has won the most Olympic gold medals for
China in a single session in history. Famous players such as Li Ning, Li Xiaoshuang

and Li Xiaopeng have emerged. Weightlifting is one of the advantageous sports in
China. In August 2021, the Chinese weightlifting team won 7 gold medals, creating
the best record of Chinese weightlifting in the Olympic Games. Sprint has always been
