                  3. The weight shifts right. With the heel pivoting, the left foot turns in on the
              ball. The weight shifts left. With the heel off the ground, the right foot twining di-
              rectly arcs back and left on the inside ball to end inside the left one, the right heel
              corresponding with the left one. At the same time, the body turns right, the torso
              facing west. The left palm twining directly arcs out, up and left, grasping to the left
              front of the left eye; and the right one twining reversely arcs out, down and right,
              to end outside the right hip, facing down. The left hukou corresponds with the right
              one. (Figure 8-3)

                  4. Relax the right hip joint, and turn the torso right. At the same time, the left
              palm twining directly arcs out and right to pause in front of the right ear, facing
              left, hukou facing out, the fingers pointing up; the right one twining first reversely
              and then directly, arcs up and left to the upper front of the left one, facing left, the
              fingers pointing up and forward. The right knee twining reversely rises, aligning
              with the left and right palms. The eyes look forward. (Figure 8-4)
                  5. As the right foot stamps on the ground, the toes pointing northwest, the left
              knee twining reversely rises. At the same time, with the torso turning left, the left
              palm twining reversely and the right one directly pull down and left in a concave
              curve, the left palm resting outside the left hip, facing down, the right one above
              the left knee, facing up and left.
                  6. Relax the right hip joint, and turn the torso right. At the same time, the
              left palm twining directly and the right one reversely pull up and right in a convex
              curve, with the left one in front of the mouth, facing up and right; and the right one
              to the right front of the right shoulder, facing out, the right elbow aligning with the
