closing in; and the right one reversely arcs up, right and out, the right arm rounded,
the right elbow aligning with the right knee. The eyes look right and back. (Figure
10-2)
3. Relax the right hip joint, and turn the torso further right, with the weight
shifting onto the right leg.
The left knee rises, and the left foot twining reversely steps down to the left of
the right foot, the heel off the ground. The feet are parallel, shoulder-width apart.
At the same time, the right palm twining directly ascends in a concave curve to rest
in front of the left armpit, facing up. With the left elbow twining reversely to close
in and press down in a convex curve around the right shoulder joint, the left palm
thrusts down in front of the left thigh, the fingers pointing to the toes of the left
foot. The eyes look left and forward (northeast). (Figure 10-3)

Note: In Movement 3, as the left palm thrusts down, the back keeps upright,
and baihui (GV20) is gently pulled up. The internal energy goes through the left
shoulder, the left elbow and the left palm in sequence.
Posture 11 Feng Sao Mei Hua
(Wind Sweeps Plum Blossoms)
1. Relax the right hip joint. Sink the right buttock and turn the left one, with
the torso turning right. At the same time, with the ball pivoting, the left foot twin-
ing reversely stamps sharply with the heel. The right palm twining reversely arcs
up, out and right to the right front of the right eye, facing out, the fingers pointing
up and left; and the left one twining reversely arcs down, in and left to rest outside
the left hip, facing down, the fingers pointing right and forward. The hukou of two
